Dr. Nancy Molitor is a Clinical Psychologist and Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry and Behavioral Science at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. She is in independent practice in Wilmette, Illinois where she specializes in treating postpartum depression and other mood and anxiety disorders in women.
Dr. Molitor is the President-Elect of the American Psychological Association's Division of Independent Practice (Division 42,) as well as the Past President of the Illinois Psychological Association. Dr. Molitor also serves as a coordinator for the American Psychological Association Public Education campaign and is a contributing editor on the APA's new public education blog, Your Mind Your Body.org. She has been recently featured as an expert on stress and the recession in national and international media outlets such as CNN, NBC-TV, PBS-TV, National Public Radio, The New York Times and USA Today.
Dr. Molitor was in 1999 inducted into The National Academies of Practice in Clinical Psychology. She is the author of numerous professional publications and presentations. Dr. Molitor holds a Ph.D. in Clinical and Developmental Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She lives in Evanston, Illinois with her husband, Robert Mark, an aviation journalist and consultant, and their teenage daughter.
