Dr. Ronald E. Fox received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Carolina in 1962 and held faculty positions at UNC and the Ohio State University before becoming the founding Dean of the School of Professional Psychology at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio . He is a recipient of the American Psychological Foundation’s prestigious Career Contributions to Practice Award, the APA Board of Educational Affairs’ Award for Career Contributions to Education, a lifetime achievement award from the Society for the Psychological Study of Ethnic Minority Issues, and APA’s Raymond D. Fowler Award for Outstanding Contributions to APA. He holds an honorary Doctor of Psychology degree from the California School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Fox is the Executive Director of THE CONSULTING GROUP, a division of Human Resource Consultants and holds a part-time faculty appointment in the UNC Department of Psychology. Dr. Fox is a past president of the American Psychological Association (1994-95).
Dr. Fox has authored books on psychotherapy outcomes, abnormal psychology, and organizational change as well as numerous publications in scientific and professional journals. His three children include 2 psychologists and an attorney.
